Five residents of Cologne and five Japanese participants from Okinawa, Kyoto, Nagoya, and Tokyo shared haiku on the theme of the moon, expressing their hopes for peace.
Participants ranged in age from high school students to older generations, creating a meaningful time in which people from different countries reflected together on peace through haiku.
